Three-year asbestos licence for Clarke’s Environmental
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has awarded Clarke’s Environmental the maximum three-year licence to remove asbestos.
Asbestos is classified as a category 1 carcinogen and asbestos related disease cause around 5000 deaths every year in the UK. Quite rightly, work with asbestos requires a high degree of regulatory control and the purpose of the HSE licensing is to achieve this.
Michael Carmody, Operations Director at Clarke’s Environmental, said: “It is a great achievement to be awarded a three year licence. The licence – and the length of its validity – should give our customers absolute confidence in the work we do, and the way in which we carry out that work.”<< back to latest news
